Site attendants perform functions in the operation of Boise County Solid Waste including manual labor, maintaining a sanitary collection site, security of site, buildings and gates, maintain waste logs and receipt books. Boise County Weed Department is now accepting applications for temporary seasonal work. Opportunities for both certified and non-certified herbicide applicators are available. Both positions operate application equipment to apply herbicides in the treatment of undesirable vegetation and are responsible for the calibration of and light maintenance for all application equipment. Certified Applicators provide limited professional advice regarding the identification, control, and management of most general vegetation, and all noxious weeds.
