DEPUTY CLERK AUDITOR Job Description

DEPUTY AUDITOR/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
The duties of this position are focused on performing a variety of financial-related duties and projects for the Clerk’s Office. Specifically, the following skills and strengths are required:
 Demonstrated ability in the accounting field, including: journal entry preparation, month end reconciliation, preparation of various financial reports
 Flexible professional able to work with a variety of personalities
 Organized and able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
 Highly ethical with the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality of privileged documents
 Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word software
Education: High school degree required, additional education beneficial.
Experience: Two years or more of financial accounting experience.

Boise County is seeking a full-time Planning and Zoning Permit Technician. Performs a variety of routine to moderately complex, clerical duties, to assist and relieve other positions of the Planning & Zoning Department operations. Issuance of building permits, the intake and processing of conditional use permits, and other planning applications, are primary duties.
The successful applicant will be working from the historic town of Idaho City, the county seat of Boise County, located about 36 miles northeast of the City of Boise. Building Inspector Job Description

Boise County Planning & Zoning Department Boise County is now accepting applications for a full time, 32 hours per week, Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector. The position duties include but are not limited to,
investigating complaints, enforcing Boise County Ordinances in relationship to the Planning and Zoning Department, and performing standard building inspections of new and existing properties for compliance with the Building Codes. The position does require an active International Code Council Residential/Building Inspector’s certification. Transfer Site Attendant II Job Description

 Boise County Weed Department is now accepting applications for temporary seasonal work.  Opportunities for both certified and non-certified herbicide applicators are available.  Both positions operate application equipment to apply herbicides in the treatment of undesirable vegetation and are responsible for the calibration of and light maintenance for all application equipment. Certified Applicators provide limited professional advice regarding the identification, control, and management of most general vegetation, and all noxious weeds. Certified applicators must possess an Idaho Professional Applicators License for Agricultural Herbicide or Right of Way and Law and Safety.  Pre-employment Drug Testing is required. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid Idaho Drivers License.
